yes yes, if muhammed was alive today he would be considered a terrible person. So would newton, but there is no need to defend old horrible norms.

But its also no need to critizise the norms they had in the old days either. Imagine in 400 years, they will most likely critizise our culture. Because we pollute the air, in production, by the use of transportation and otehr stuff. In 400 years im sure the world would either be pretty polluted, or it would be full of green solutions, and our culture would be laughed at, just like people laugh and abuse the old cultures. You cant critizise people for following the norms of their time.

in 400 years the earth will be a radioactive dustball, as Einstein once said after the Manhattan project "I don't know what weapons world war 3 will be fought with, but world war 4 will be fought with sticks and stones"

all it takes is one human leader who has an incredibly large ego to launch the first nuke. Russia seems to be the favourite at the moment, their leader acts like a little child with all this banning of products from "the west" which ironically is also the east as well, depending on which way you go around the globe.

People like him are just over compensating for something, like those skinny kids who get a vicious dog.

Let's not forget who triggered this whole crisis. There are many countries and industries at fault, trying to profit from this mess. The ban on imports is just a reaction to previous actions.
Ironically, barely anyone in the media landscape is talking about the real crisis (mass exodus in the middle east) and its real perpetrators. However, this is nothing knew. This has been the status quo for many wars that have been fought and initiated by the west.

Thank god for the second world war, we have plenty of bunkers here.

If you want to make an invincible bunker, you should make it out of these:

If it was a fact, it's a fact in 'today's age'. You can't judge someone centuries ago for marrying what we would call today 'far too young'.
This type of defense has been rebutted many times: morality does not change over time, only our understanding of morality changes over time. A deity stands "above" time.

This type of argueing is better know as cherrypicking. Pick and choose the good things in scripture, disregard the rest and don't have a method (from within the scripture) to determine what good & "bad" scripture is. Deities (and prophets etc) are held upon the highest moral standards, thats the difference between humans and deities (deities do not make mistakes).

I'm talking about marrying a what today is a young girl, was a young woman historically. It was norm. Even in cases that do not involve the prophet such as the example I posted earlier in the thread.
