I'm thinking I might upgrade my graphics card instead of getting a 144hz monitor.

I'm thinking of getting a Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 GeForce GTX 970 | Specifications | GeForce
From the benchmarks it's more than double the performance of my current graphics card.

You can upgrade to a 750 W just to be safe because i don't how old your psu is but when i was upgrading my pc i ran to a problem. I had 500W and thought there was no issue until i realized that there was not enough connections for my GPU, so i had to buy a new psu in the last minute. I don't know if you will run in the same issue as i did

My computer is only a few months old, but I will think i'll get a 750watt PSU to be on the safe side. I might be able to use a 650 or 600 watt instead.
It's so hard to choose between a 144hz monitor or a GTX 970, because of the huge advantage 144hz players have, it would be nice to have a chance around corners instead of being killed 8/10 times.
But I would also like to play gta 5 on Ultra settings - AA, and UT4 on max settings.

Edit, you also can't max out GTA V with a 970. I don't know how it is with Windows 10 but I couldn't max it out completely with Windows 7. A 980 or 980ti sc would run it max no problem.Last edited by Camper; 08-04-2015 at 12:49 PM.

Also forgot to say, don't buy the Corsair Raptor M30 mouse, I've had it for about 5 weeks, and the mouse wheel is broken, and the left button is on it's way out as well.

if youre gonna get a highend card you're gonna need a better monitor to maximise its output, agree also that you should aim to get an msi and not just standard one, get a bigger psu as well...
