I bought these AC-691PA speakers with my very first computer in 1998, so manufacture date should be around 1997.
Considering they're low end speakers, they sound pretty damn well (except bass) and let you plug in headphones on them.
As you can see next to the kitty, I'm still using them 18 years later.
